Steve's New Shop Vac

The other night, Steve came home with a new shop vac. He got such a great deal on it, that apparently it was too good to pass up (even though I feel like we had an ample supply of them in various sizes ... before the purchase of that one).

He left the box in the living room and the girls found it the next morning. It wasn't long before Sam had the hose out and was playing with it. We showed the girls that they could talk/listen with the hose and they caught on pretty quickly.

At first, both girls were trying to talk into it at the same time:

Then, they took turns talking and listening:

It's the simple things sometimes that provide so much entertainment!
