We experienced our first snowfall of this season on Tuesday night, and Samantha was itching to get outside yesterday so that she could play in it. For about a month now, Sam's been asking when the snow was going to come; in fact, she even asked for snow for her birthday! I guess that she remembers playing in the snow with her daddy last year (shoveling and using her sled).
She was SO happy to be outside! We got about 8 inches of snow, so it was up to her knees, but she didn't seem to mind one bit!
I even got her to help me shovel a little bit of snow around our cars:

((Note: As a result of the big snowstorm that we got Tuesday night -- driving home from teaching was a total nightmare for me that night -- I chose to cancel the girls' appointments to see the doctor on Wednesday morning. So, I don't have any stats to report on Sophia (or Sam) yet. The appointments have been re-scheduled for two weeks from now. I will update then).
