On Sunday, Halloween Eve, Steve and I carved pumpkins with the girls (well, Sophia joined in for a few photos, but mostly she played with Grammy in the living room). Sam had so much fun! It's amazing what a difference a year makes -- this photo was taken of Samantha a year ago:

Sam really got into the whole "gutting out the pumpkin" thing:
Sophia wasn't too sure what to think of the whole thing though:
For Sam's pumpkin, we did a Mr. Potato Head (she is obsessed with those right now!):
She was pretty pleased with the final product:

(Steve loves to use props on his pumpkins; I went for "super simple" this year).
And afterwards, Sophia was so tired out that she felt asleep in Daddy's arms:
