We are in the process of finishing our basement. This was a project that we knew we were going to do in the near future, and it officially got underway last week.
Samantha loves to go down there, simply to inspect things ... but also because she loves to "build towers" down there with all of the scraps of wood. Here she is (all decked out in her cowgirl gear), constructing one such tower:

And, it wasn't long before the engineer in the family took over and showed Samantha how to build an even sturdier base:
Definitely a much stronger and sturdier tower -- especially if it can hold a 35 lb. little girl!
