The Sprinkler

Yesterday morning, I told Steve that the girls and I were heading to Meijer for our weekly shopping trip.  He suggested that while I was there that maybe I could try to find a new sprinkler for the girls (well, mostly Sam) to use in the front yard; one that was a little fancier than a simple garden sprinkler.

There wasn't much of a selection, but I found one that connects to the end of the hose and stretches out 12 feet with rotating wands.  Sam was "completely sold" on it and we put it in our cart.  I promised that after lunch, I would hook it up and we would try it.

Waiting for Momma to turn the hose on:

This picture cracks me up -- they have the exact same look on their faces!

"Any time you're ready, Momma ..."

Running through the new sprinkler for the first time:

Adding a kick for a little extra flair:

Sophia was SO leary of the sprinkler at first.  She wouldn't even go near it.  But, if I went through it with her, she giggled and giggled.

I think that we are going to get quite a bit of use out of the sprinkler this summer!
