Our elf made it back from the North Pole this year so that she could spend the month of December with us. She was busy each and every night and the kids were so excited to find her each morning. This was the first year that we didn't have to worry too much about someone touching her (ahem, James!) so she was often right within reach.
A few of her days included ...
North Pole Breakfast on her first day back
Discretely helping herself to my (jumbo) bag of chocolate chips
Tangled up in glow sticks in the hall bathroom
Doodling in her notebook to leave a message for the kids with two new Christmas stories to read
Setting up a 'shoe train' with a bunch of our shoes and animal friends
Making snowflakes and hanging them up in the window
Setting up an 'elf car wash' with several cars/trucks/tractors
New gloves/mittens in time for the winter snow
Doing a Santa dot-to-dot
Being an elf is hard work and sometimes you just need a rest
Stringing popcorn garland together for the tree in the kitchen
A special message and elf kisses for the kids
Stitching Santa's puff ball back on his hat (after Jimmy pulled it off)
All set up to make our annual 'reindeer food'
Christmas Catherine really likes to doodle
Hitting the slopes for some sledding fun
She left a secret message that the kids had to decode
Hot cocoa day with new mugs and plates
