Daddy-Daughter Dance - 2020

The Daddy-Daughter Dance this year was extra special for Sophia because this was the first one that she would be attending one her own with her dad.  In the past, Sophia has always gone to the dance with Samantha too.  But, last year marked the final year that Samantha would be attending (she was in 5th grade), so Sophia had this date all to herself. 

We picked out her dress online -- that is so much easier than going from one store to another and the possibilities are endless.  Her shoes still fit from last year too :)

And she surprised me by choosing a RED dress; she usually goes with something pink or purple.  It was absolutely gorgeous on her!

Steve came home from work a couple of hours early so that he could get ready and take a few pictures.  And then, they met up with one of the other dads and Sophia's friend for dinner before heading to the dance.

She is so tall (in the 80th percentile for her height).

Pausing outside to take a picture on the front porch with the Valentine decorations in the background.  Oh!  And her nails -- I painted them for her and finished them off with a tiny jewel on each one.
