Beach Bunny

For her birthday, Sophia got a new bathing suit to use this summer at the beach (thanks, Uncle Jake)! I wanted to make sure that it was the right size for her, so we put her in it the other morning ... and she was SO cute!

Obviously, it will be quite some time before it is warm enough to head to the beach here in Michigan. But, you can bet that my girls will go the first opportunity that presents itself! I'm excited for Sophia to be able to enjoy the sand and water this year. Most likely, she'll be running around by then.

Last year, Sophia spent the majority of the time in her stroller (usually napping), while Sam and I played on the beach and in the water. I still put her in a bathing suit so that she could enjoy a little bit of the sun and splash in the water. This year, she will finally learn how much fun the beach can be!
